Role Description The Agriculture Specialist intern will support field activities and project implementation related to agricultural development in Bihar, with a hybrid work arrangement that combines on-site engagement and some work-from-home tasks. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting in the planning and monitoring of agricultural production activities, collecting and analyzing field data, and supporting the adoption of improved farming practices. The role involves communicating with farmers, local stakeholders, and internal teams to share recommendations, gather feedback,



and document outcomes.

The intern may also help in promoting agricultural solutions and services, preparing reports, and supporting awareness or training sessions for farming communities. This is an internship role designed to provide practical exposure to agriculture-focused social impact work in a structured and supportive environment.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Agriculture and Agricultural Production, with the ability to understand and support farming practices.
- Effective Communication skills for engaging with farmers, local partners, and internal teams.
- Solid Analytical Skills to collect, interpret, and report on agricultural and field data.
- Basic understanding of Sales or farmer outreach to support promotion of agricultural solutions and services.
- Currently pursuing or having completed a degree/diploma in Agriculture, Agronomy, Rural Development, or a related field.
- Interest in social impact, community development, and working with rural populations.
- Ability to work in a hybrid setup in Bihar, manage time independently, and adapt to field conditions.
- Knowledge of local languages in Bihar and familiarity with regional agricultural practices is an advantage.
