Description

Persistent is hiring an Agentic AI Engineer for AI-led digital engineering and enterprise modernization work.

Experience

- 2 to 5 years
- 8 to 12 years of relevant experience in an Agentic AI Engineer or similar role

Responsibilities

- Develop Camunda BPMN and DMN workflows by translating Pega processes into executable automation solutions
- Build and maintain backend microservices using Java and Spring Boot
- Develop UI components using React or Angular for human task interaction, workflow monitoring, and case management
- Integrate Camunda with REST APIs, messaging platforms,



databases, and enterprise applications
- Embed Agentic AI capabilities within workflows using LLMs, AI services, and API-based integrations
- Design end-to-end solutions covering workflow orchestration, backend services, APIs, and front-end applications
- Ensure scalability, performance, reliability, security, and maintainability
- Support testing, deployment automation, CI/CD implementation, and production optimization
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, analysts, and development teams
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across workflow, integration, and application layers

Nice To Have

- Relevant certifications in Camunda BPM, Java, Spring Boot, Cloud Technologies, AI/ML, Generative AI, or Agentic AI
- Exposure to enterprise application development, workflow automation, microservices architecture, and cloud-native technologies during academic or professional experience




- Candidates with a BE / B.Tech / ME / M.Tech / MCA from a recognized university are preferred
