About the RoleCanary The School is looking for a dynamic and student-focused Admission Counsellor to join our admissions team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for guiding prospective parents and students through the admissions journey, building solid relationships, handling enquiries and follow-ups, and contributing towards achieving admission targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle admission enquiries through calls, emails, WhatsApp and walk-ins.
- Counsel prospective parents and students on the school's academic programmes, curriculum, facilities and overall learning environment.
- Understand the needs and preferences of prospective families and provide relevant guidance throughout the admission process.
- Conduct campus visits and provide engaging presentations to prospective parents.
- Maintain regular and professional follow-ups with prospective families and ensure timely conversion of qualified leads.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with parents and prospective students.
- Maintain accurate records of enquiries, follow-ups and admissions using CRM/MIS systems.
- Coordinate with academic and administrative teams to ensure a smooth and seamless admission experience.
- Address parent queries professionally and resolve concerns or escalate them when required.




- Support the admissions team in meeting monthly and annual enrolment targets.
- Prepare and maintain admission-related reports and provide regular updates to the management.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline; Master's degree preferred.
- 2-3 years of experience in admissions, counselling, customer relations or a similar role, preferably in the education sector.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation and convincing skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic computer applications.
- Strong follow-up, relationship-management and organisational skills.
- Ability to interact confidently and professionally with parents.
- A customer-focused approach with the ability to handle multiple enquiries effectively.
- Prior experience in a school, international school or educational institution will be an advantage.
