Work you'll do

As an Active Directory Engineer on the Active Directory Services (ADS) team, you will be responsible for supporting Active Directory and Microsoft Identity Manager services that help maintain secure, stable, and efficient identity operations across the organization.

- Manage user accounts, groups, organizational units, service principal names, and Group Managed Service Accounts (gMSA) within the Active Directory environment.
- Configure and support Group Policy objects, Active Directory delegation, and authentication services across domain controllers, member servers, and user environments.
- Troubleshoot Active Directory, Domain Name System (DNS), Kerberos, replication, permissions, and Windows authentication issues, including break-fix incidents and service requests.
- Monitor Active Directory health and performance, support change management activities, and contribute to process improvement and continual service improvement efforts.
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams, application teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to support business continuity, platform security, and directory service operations.

The team The Active Directory Services (ADS) team supports core identity and directory services that enable secure access across Deloitte’s technology environment. The team manages Active Directory and Microsoft Identity Manager capabilities that support user lifecycle processes, access administration, and platform stability.



Team members work closely with infrastructure, application, and security stakeholders to help maintain continuity and support enterprise operations.

Location: Hyderabad

Shift Timings: 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM / 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM during UK daylight saving time

Qualifications

Required

- Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology.
- 4-6 years of experience in an Active Directory role.
- Experience with Active Directory architecture and infrastructure, including Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP), directory replication, restoration, Group Policy, security, and schema changes.
- Experience with Domain Name System (DNS), Kerberos, Windows authentication, and single sign-on integrations.
- Experience troubleshooting Group Policy issues on local workstations and servers.
- Knowledge of cyber security awareness, vulnerability management, and ransomware controls.
- Experience with PowerShell scripting and administration tools such as Active Directory Users and Computers (ADUC) and Group Policy Management Console (GPMC).

Preferred
- ITIL v3 or v4 Foundation certification.
- AZ-800 Administering Windows Server Hybrid Core Infrastructure certification.
- Experience with ServiceNow, Varonis, System Center Operations Manager (SCOM), or SolarWinds.
