The Role

We're hiring a Manager – Bookkeeping, Accounting & Reporting to build and lead our in-house bookkeeping function from the ground up. You'll take full ownership of day-to-day bookkeeping, transactional accounting, and e-commerce reconciliation — currently run through an external provider — and transition it in-house under a dedicated team you hire and manage. You'll report directly to the CFO.

This is a build-and-lead opportunity for someone who wants true ownership of a finance function, with a clear growth path as the team and company scale. What You'll Own - The monthly close process end-to-end — closed, reconciled books on a consistent schedule - Tax-readiness of the books ahead of statutory and sales-tax filing cycles - Inventory reconciliation across warehouse and 3PL partners - AP/AR health and vendor payment cycles - Claims and reimbursement recovery for damaged, missing, or incorrect shipments - The output quality of a team you will hire, train, and manage Key Responsibilities - Own end-to-end bookkeeping and transactional accounting for our US business — bill-pay, expense management, and monthly close - Manage our accounting system (QuickBooks Enterprise)



and e-commerce integration tools; keep records clean, accurate, and timely - Reconcile transactions across major marketplaces (Amazon, Walmart, and others) — payouts, fees, refunds, and chargebacks - Build and lead an in-house bookkeeping team — recruit, onboard, and manage 2–3 members within the first year - Lead the transition of US & Canada sales-tax filing from an external agency to an internally managed, CPA-reviewed process - Oversee AP/AR, vendor reconciliation, and claims/reimbursement processes - Deliver accurate monthly MIS and reporting inputs to the CFO - Establish and maintain strong internal financial controls and SOPs - Coordinate with US-based teams and external CPAs/tax advisors across time zones What We're Looking For - 6–10 years of bookkeeping/accounting experience, including 2–3 years managing a team - CA / CA Inter / CMA - Proven experience owning a bookkeeping function end-to-end — not just executing assigned tasks - Hands-on experience with QuickBooks (Enterprise a plus) - Experience with e-commerce/marketplace accounting (Amazon, Walmart, Shopify, or similar) - Comfortable working across India–US time zones Good to Have - US multi-state sales-tax filing experience - Familiarity with e-commerce accounting integrations - A track record of building or scaling a small accounting team What We Offer - A true ownership role — build and lead a function from the ground up, not just staff it - Direct visibility and reporting line to the CFO - A fast-paced, global e-commerce environment with real financial impact - A transparent growth path in title and compensation as the team and function scale
