Role Description The Accountant will work on-site in Aligarh in a full time capacity, supporting accurate and timely financial operations for Midwest Equestrian Limited. Daily responsibilities include maintaining general ledgers, preparing and reviewing journal entries, reconciling bank and vendor accounts, and overseeing accounts payable and receivable. The role involves preparing financial statements, assisting with budgeting and cost analysis for manufacturing operations, and monitoring inventory-related financial data.





The Accountant will also ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations, support internal and external audits, and collaborate with management to provide clear financial insights for decision-making.

Qualifications

- Strong core accounting skills, including general ledger management, journal entry posting, and account reconciliation.
- Experience with financial reporting and analysis, including preparation of balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheets; ability to work with ERP or manufacturing-focused systems is an advantage.
- Knowledge of tax regulations, compliance requirements, and audit support processes.
- Attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (such as CA, CMA, or equivalent) are a plus.
- Prior experience in manufacturing or export-oriented businesses is beneficial, particularly in cost accounting and inventory control.
