Role Description The Accountant role at GYSZ Global is a full-time, on-site position based in Thiruvananthapuram. The individual in this role will manage daily bookkeeping activities, including recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, and reconciling bank and cash accounts.

Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing financial statements, assisting with monthly and annual closing, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations. The Accountant will process accounts payable and receivable, monitor expense records, and support budgeting, forecasting, and internal audits.



This role also involves working closely with internal teams to provide accurate financial data, support decision-making, and uphold robust financial controls.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in financial accounting and reporting, including experience with general ledger management, journal entries, and preparation of financial statements.
- Proficiency in accounting software and tools (e.g., Zoho, Tally, ERP systems, Excel), with the ability to work with spreadsheets, financial models, and basic data analysis.
- Knowledge of local taxation rules, compliance requirements, and regulatory standards, with experience handling GST, TDS, payroll, and statutory filings.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in bookkeeping, reconciliations, and documentation, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to analyze financial data, identify variances or risks, and communicate clear, concise insights to stakeholders.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate professionally across finance, operations, and management teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications are an advantage.
- Experience in a fast-paced, growth-oriented business environment, preferably within technology, infrastructure, or platform-led companies, is beneficial.
