Company Description Parikh Metacast Private Limited is an ISO 9001:2015 certified steel foundry based in Kolhapur, operating since July 1998. The company specializes in manufacturing high-quality steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, heat-resistant, and SG iron castings for core sector industries such as automobile, mining, material handling, cement, and steel. With a monthly production capacity of around 450 MT, Parikh Metacast produces single-piece castings ranging from 400 kg to 7,000 kg that meet Indian and international standards.

Its manufacturing facilities are approved by IRS for steel and alloy steel castings used in shipbuilding, reflecting strong technical capabilities and quality focus.

Role Description The Account Assistant role is a full-time, in office position based in Kagal. The role involves supporting day-to-day accounting operations, including recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, and assisting with invoice processing and payment follow-ups.

The Account

Assistant will handle petty cash management, support credit control activities, and assist in preparing basic financial reports and reconciliations.



This position also requires effective coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure accurate documentation, timely entries, and adherence to company finance policies.

Qualifications

- Strong accounting skills, including basic bookkeeping, ledger maintenance, and familiarity with accounting principles.
- Foundational finance knowledge, with the ability to assist in financial reporting, reconciliations, and expense tracking.
- Experience in credit control and petty cash handling, with attention to accuracy and compliance.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with internal departments, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel), and comfort with using digital tools.
- Relevant educational background in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong numerical aptitude, attention to detail, and ability to work in an organized, deadline-driven environment.
- 3-5 years of Prior experience in manufacturing or industrial settings is an advantage.
