ABOUT THE COMPANY

We are partnering with a fast-growing, promoter-led alloy steel manufacturer to hire a Regional Sales Lead– North. This is a high-ownership leadership role managing one of the company's most critical markets, covering the North India OEM and industrial belt (Delhi-NCR, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh).

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is the regional leadership role in the organisation reporting directly to the Sales Head responsible for scaling an existing revenue base of ₹250 Cr, entering strategic new markets, and building a high-performing national sales organisation. The ideal candidate is a seasoned sales skilled with deep exposure to high-specification steel, forgings, or adjacent engineering sectors, and a proven track record of enterprise account management, vendor qualification cycles, and value-based selling.

New Target Market Segments (Strategic Expansion)
Client is strategically looking to enter new segments and strengthen our presence in existing ones (noted in brackets):
Aerospace (enter)
Defence (strengthen — e.g. Adani Defence, Mahindra Defence)
Oil & Gas (strengthen — approvals with Baker Hughes, Schlumberger, Cameron)

RESPONSIBILITIES




Drive ₹100–300 Cr regional revenue
Lead growth across OEMs, distributors & key industrial accounts
Build strong relationships with OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, EPC & industrial clients
Expand presence across Delhi-NCR, Ludhiana, Jaipur and Faridabad clusters
Own pricing, margins, collections & overall regional P&L;
Lead and scale a high-performing sales team

QUALIFICATIONS
12–20 years in steel / alloy steel / forgings / castings / engineering sales
Proven experience handling the North region (must-have)
Strong exposure to OEM / key account / industrial sales
Track record of revenue growth and team leadership
English communication is crucial for this role

PREFERRED SKILLS
Special steel or alloy steel companies
Large forging or casting companies with OEM / enterprise sales divisions
Engineering product firms supplying to Defence, Aerospace, or Oil & Gas sectors
Large integrated steel manufacturers with value-added or special product verticals
