Role Title: Interior Site Engineer / Project Management Site Engineer
Department: Projects & Execution
Reporting To: Project Manager / Senior Operations Manager
Key Objective: Ensure interior fit-out projects are delivered on time, within budget, safely, and strictly according to architectural and interior design specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Site Execution & Supervision: Oversee day-to-day site operations, managing MEP, carpentry, modular furniture, civil works, flooring, ceiling, and painting contractors.
Drawing & Design Compliance: Interpret GFC (Good for Construction) architectural blueprints, shop drawings, and 3D designs to ensure on-site implementation matches approved plans.
Quality & Safety Assurance: Inspect materials upon arrival for specifications (e.g., plywood grade, paint codes, veneer finishes) and enforce site safety protocols.
Vendor & Subcontractor Coordination: Supervise specialized vendors, assign daily tasks, track manpower, and resolve trade intersections (e.g., HVAC vs. False Ceiling conflicts).
Schedule & Progress Tracking: Maintain Daily Progress Reports (DPR), monitor project timelines (Gantt charts/MS Project), and communicate bottlenecks to management.
Material & Inventory Management: Track material consumption in office, minimize wastage, and raise purchase requests in advance to avoid work delays.
Billing & Client Handover: Verify vendor bills against actual site measurements, address client snags (punch lists), and complete final snag-free handovers.
