Responsibilities include troubleshooting breakdowns, executing scheduled preventive maintenance, repairing mechanical parts, and maintaining compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Core Responsibilities

- Troubleshooting & Diagnostics: Detect mechanical malfunctions through diagnostic tests, visual inspections, and operational observation.
- Preventive Maintenance (PM): Conduct routine servicing, lubrication, calibration, and inspections to prevent equipment failures and minimize production downtime.
- Repair & Replacement: Dismantle machinery, repair broken or faulty parts, and install recent components using hand and power tools.
- Equipment Installation: Assist in setting up, aligning, and calibrating new mechanical systems and utility equipment according to manufacturer specifications.
- Record Keeping: Accurately document maintenance activities, equipment history, and parts usage.
- Inventory Management: Track spare parts and supplies,



anticipate future needs, and assist in purchasing or replenishing stock.
- Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards and regulations (e.g., proper use of PPE, lockout/tagout procedures).

Key Skills & Requirements

- Technical Aptitude: Strong understanding of mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and utility equipment (e.g., pumps, compressors, HVAC systems).
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints, diagrams, and operation manuals.
- Problem-Solving: Capability to conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to solve recurring equipment issues.
