We are looking for a hardworking and responsible Commis Chef to assist our senior chefs in daily kitchen operations.
Responsibilities:
- Assist chefs with food preparation and cooking.
- Cut vegetables and prepare ingredients, gravies and marinades.
- Prepare dishes according to standard recipes and portion sizes.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.
- Store ingredients properly and check freshness.
- Follow instructions from the Head Chef and senior kitchen staff.
- Help control food wastage and manage stock.
- Work efficiently during busy service hours
