Profile - Warehouse Manager
Experience - 4 to 5 years
Salary - 22000 to 25000 per month
1. Role Purpose
Magna Business Group is looking for an experienced and disciplined Warehouse Manager to take complete ownership of warehouse operations and material movement
The role covers the complete flow of material: Inward -> QC Storage T Inventory -> Picking -> Packing T Dispatch - Outward Control -> 55. The position requires strong process discipline, inventory accuracy, material traceability and coordination with Procurement, Sales, Billing and Logistics.
2. Key Responsibilities
• Material Inward & Receiving: Verify incoming material against Buying Plan, PO and delivery documents; check quantity size, grade, specification and condition; record inward accurately; report shortages, excesses, damage or mismatches.
• Quality Control: Coordinate required QC/inspection; verify grade, size, specification and quantity,; segregate approved, pending-QC, rejected and damaged material; maintair traceability:
• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate physical and system stock; manage location/bin identification; conduct regular stock verification/cycle counts; investigate discrepancies; monitor slow-moving, surplus and damaged stock.
Storage & Warehouse Management: Ensure systematic storage, safe stacking, efficient space utilization, clear identification and prevention of damage, corrosion, contamination and misplacement
• Picking & Dispatch Preparation: Pick material against approved Dispatch ID/Buying Plan; verify item, size, grade and quantity; ensure no wrong. short or excess material is dispatched; coordinate with Billing and Logistics.
• Packing & Dispatch Control: Ensure suitable packing, protection against transit damage/moisture/corrosion, package labelling, package count and Ready-for-Dispatch staging,
• Outgoing Material & Loading:
Supervise loading; verify material against approved dispatch documents; coordinate vehicle placement; maintain package/loading records; ensure discrepancies are resolved before vehicle departure.
• 5S & Housekeeping: Maintain Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize and Sustain across the warehouse; keep the warehouse clean, organized, safe and accessible
• Warehouse Safety: Ensure safe storage/handling, proper stacking, clear movement paths and protected loading/unloading; report unsafe conditions immediately.
• Team Management: Supervise warehouse staff/helpers; allocate daily work; maintain discipline and productivity,; train staff on material handling, packing, safety, 5S and SOPs
3. Cross-Functional Coordination
• Procurement: Expected arivals, Buying Plan status, inward and material discrepancies.
• Sales: Dispatch requirements and customer-specific material/packing requirements
• Billing: Billing readiness, invoice/dispatch documentation and material release.
• Logistics: Vehicle planning, loading, package/box details and dispatch execution.
• Management: Inventory status, discrepancies, warehouse performance, damage/loss and process improvement
4. Warehouse SOP & Process Control
The Warehouse Manager will implement and maintain SOP-based operations covering
Material Inward - Verification -> QC -> Identification -> Storage -> Inventory T Picking Verification T Packing T Dispatch Readiness -Loading -> Outward Dispatch.
Every material movement should be traceable and controlled.
5. Inventory Accuracy & Control
• No unidentified material or unrecorded inward
• No unauthorized material issue
• No wrong material dispatch
• No unexplained stock variance
• Proper segregation of rejected/damaged/pending-QC material
• Regular physical stock verification
• Proper documentation of material movement
6. Transition & Handover
As the current Warehouse Manager is transitioning out, the selected candidate will conduct a structured takeover of physical/system stock, open inward, pending QC, pending dispatches, ready-for-dispatch materials, damaged/rejected stock, material locations, warehouse assets, packing materials, staff responsibilities, existing SOPs, 5S condition and open operational issues.
Objective: ensure a clean and controlled transition without disruption to ongoing warehouse and dispatch operations.
7. Candidate Profile
• Experience: 4-5 years of relevant warehouse experience
• Preferred background: Industrial trading, manufacturing, engineering products, project supply, infrastructure or B2B distribution.
• Skills: Inventory management, inward/outward control, dispatch, packing, physical stock verification, basic QC understanding, ERP/inventory software, MS Excel, documentation, 5S, team handling and loading/unloading supervision.
• Qualification: Graduate / Diploma preferred,
