Key Responsibilities During Articleship

1. Accounting & BookkeepingX`

- Maintain ledgers, vouchers, and journal entries.
- Prepare financial statements like Balance Sheet & P&L.;

1. Taxation

- Prepare and file GST returns, TDS returns, and Income Tax returns.
- Assist in tax audits and advance tax workings.

1. Audit Assistance

- Work on Statutory Audit, Internal Audit, Tax Audit, Bank Audit.
- Perform vouching, verification, and compliance checks.
- Draft audit reports and working papers.

1. Compliance Work

- ROC filings, MCA compliance, PF/ESI compliance (if applicable).
- Assist clients in meeting regulatory deadlines.

1. Client Interaction & Reporting

- Communicate with clients regarding data requirements.
- Prepare MIS reports, financial analysis, and presentations.
