Reports To: Housekeeping Supervisor / Hotel Manager

Job SummaryResponsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and overall presentation of guest rooms and hotel common areas. The housekeeping staff should ensure a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for all guests.

- Key ResponsibilitiesClean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and assigned common areas.
- Change bed linen, towels, and other room amenities as required.
- Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize surfaces regularly.
- Replenish toiletries and guest supplies.
- Check rooms for cleanliness, maintenance issues, and missing/damaged items.
- Report maintenance problems, lost & found items, and damages to the supervisor.
- Follow hotel standards for hygiene, cleanliness, and guest service.
- Handle cleaning chemicals and housekeeping equipment safely.
- Respond politely and professionally to guest requests.




- Maintain cleanliness of housekeeping stores and equipment.
- Follow hotel policies, safety procedures, and workplace hygiene standards.
- Complete assigned rooms and duties within the required time.
- Skills & QualificationsPrevious housekeeping/hotel experience preferred.
- Good knowledge of cleaning and sanitation practices.
- Physically fit and able to perform housekeeping duties.
- Valuable communication and interpersonal skills.
- Honest, responsible, punctual, and well-groomed.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays.
