- Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and general ledger entries.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
- Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, customer accounts, and balance sheet accounts.
- Prepare financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules.
- Review accounts payable, accounts receivable, expenses, and journal entries.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, tax laws, and company policies.
- Assist in internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Monitor cash flow, outstanding receivables, and payables.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Guide and support junior accounting staff, if required.
