Job SummaryWe are looking for skilled and experienced Electricians for deployment at an ONGC project/site in Mumbai. The candidate will be responsible for installation, inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems, equipment and associated installations while strictly following industrial and site safety standards.

- Key ResponsibilitiesInstallation, maintenance and repair of electrical wiring, panels, motors, lighting systems and electrical equipment.
- Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems.
- Inspect electrical equipment, cables, switches, DB panels, MCC panels and associated systems.
- Identify electrical faults and perform troubleshooting and corrective maintenance.
- Perform cable laying, cable termination, gland fitting and connection of electrical equipment.
- Installation and maintenance of industrial lighting, sockets, switches and distribution boards.
- Maintenance and checking of electrical motors, starters, contactors, relays and control panels.
- Use testing instruments such as multimeter, clamp meter, megger and insulation tester.
- Read and understand basic electrical drawings, wiring diagrams and single-line diagrams.
- Ensure proper earthing and electrical safety of equipment.
- Follow Permit to Work (PTW), Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and other site safety procedures.
- Use prescribed PPE while performing electrical work.
- Immediately report electrical hazards, equipment failures and unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
- Maintain tools, equipment and work areas in safe working condition.
- Coordinate with supervisors, engineers and other maintenance personnel.
- Comply with ONGC/project-specific safety, quality and operational requirements.




- QualificationITI in Electrician Trade from a recognized institute is preferred.
- Valid Electrician/Wireman licence or competency certificate, wherever applicable.
- Candidates with relevant industrial electrical experience may be considered as per project requirements.
- ExperienceMinimum 2–5 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Experience in Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical, Power Plant, Offshore/Onshore, Manufacturing or Heavy Industrial Projects will be preferred.
- Previous experience at ONGC or similar PSU/industrial projects will be an added advantage.
- Freshers are also eligible.

Safety RequirementsCandidates must be willing to:

- Follow all ONGC/site HSE requirements.
- Wear mandatory PPE including safety helmet, safety shoes, gloves and other protective equipment.
- Work under approved Permit to Work systems.
- Follow LOTO procedures before electrical maintenance.
- Attend mandatory safety induction and toolbox meetings.
- Work in industrial environments, including shifts, if required.
