Job Responsibilities

- Independently handle CNC turning machine setting and production.
- Perform complete job setting, tool setting and work offset setting.
- Knowledge of Fanuc / Siemens CNC controls preferred.
- Read and understand engineering drawings, dimensions and tolerances.
- Select suitable inserts, drills, boring bars and cutting tools.
- Make necessary tool offset and wear corrections during production.
- Handle job changeover and new component setting independently.
- Inspect first-off and in-process components using Vernier, Micrometer, Bore Gauge, Height Gauge, etc.
- Maintain required dimensional accuracy and surface finish.
- Identify and solve basic machining problems such as tool wear, chatter, taper, dimensional variation and surface-finish issues.
- Monitor tool life and replace inserts/tools at the appropriate time.




- Achieve production targets while maintaining quality requirements.
- Reduce rejection, setup time and machine downtime.
- Basic CNC programming/program correction knowledge will be an advantage.
- Maintain machine, tooling and workplace properly.

Candidate RequirementsCandidate should have:

- Good hands-on experience in CNC Turning setting.
- Ability to set the machine independently without continuous supervision.
- Strong knowledge of CNC tooling and machining parameters.
- Valuable understanding of GD&T; / engineering drawings and tolerances.
- Experience in precision automobile/engineering components preferred.
- Willingness to work shifts and overtime when required.
- Immediate joiners preferred.
