We are hiring a friendly and dependable Cashier cum Sales Associate for our sweet shop in Ahmedabad. The candidate will handle billing, assist customers, maintain the counter and support day-to-day shop operations.
Responsibilities:
- Handle cash, card and UPI payments accurately
- Operate the POS system and issue bills
- Welcome customers and explain available sweets and products
- Recommend products, gift boxes and seasonal items
- Maintain the cash register and complete daily reconciliation
- Assist with stock counting, refilling displays and checking expiry dates
- Keep the billing counter and display area clean and organised
- Report cash differences, damaged products and low stock promptly
- Follow food-hygiene and shop-safety procedures
