JFD India is hiring a Retail Sales Executive to work with our retail brands Shanthi Tailors Pvt Ltd and Just For a Day in Chennai.

Shanthi Tailors Pvt Ltd is an established brand specialising in classical dance costumes, jewellery, sarees and accessories. Just For a Day is our rental and occasion-wear concept.

We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with customers, understanding their requirements and selling—not simply standing at the counter.

Your responsibilities:

• Welcome customers and understand their requirements

• Assist customers in selecting the right costumes, jewellery, sarees and accessories

• Explain product details, pricing and available options clearly

• Recommend suitable products based on the customer’s requirement and budget

• Handle walk-in customers professionally

• Convert enquiries into sales

• Follow up with customers when required

• Build relationships with customers and encourage repeat business

• Support cross-selling and upselling across our product categories

• Coordinate with the back-office and workshop teams for customer orders

• Maintain showroom presentation and product organisation

• Keep yourself updated about products, pricing and availability

• Work towards individual and team sales targets

We are looking for someone who is:

• Confident and comfortable speaking to customers

• Good at understanding customer needs

• Naturally persuasive without being pushy

• Presentable and well-mannered

• Responsible and punctual

• Positive at follow-up

• Able to learn products quickly

• Comfortable working in a busy showroom environment

• Willing to take ownership rather than waiting for instructions

Experience

Experience in retail, showroom sales, fashion, apparel, jewellery, boutique or customer-facing sales will be an advantage.

Freshers are welcome to apply if they have excellent communication, confidence and a strong willingness to learn and sell.

Compensation

₹15,000 – ₹22,000 per month .

Salary will be decided based on experience, communication, sales ability and overall capability.
