Job Description – Dispatch Executive

Position Overview

We are looking for a Dispatch Executive to manage day-to-day dispatch operations, ensure timely shipment of goods, maintain accurate documentation, and coordinate with warehouse, transporters, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage daily dispatch activities as per approved orders and schedules.
- Prepare and verify dispatch documents, invoices, delivery challans, e-way bills, and related paperwork.
- Coordinate with the warehouse team for picking, packing, loading, and dispatch of goods.
- Coordinate with transporters and drivers for timely vehicle placement and deliveries.
- Ensure correct quantity, SKU, and destination before dispatch.
- Maintain dispatch registers, shipment records, and delivery status.
- Track dispatched shipments and follow up for timely delivery.
- Handle discrepancies related to shortages, damages, wrong shipments, or delays.
- Coordinate with Sales, Warehouse, Accounts, and Logistics teams.
- Ensure proper loading and safe handling of merchandise.




- Prepare daily/weekly dispatch reports and MIS.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs and dispatch procedures.

Required Skills

- Positive knowledge of dispatch and warehouse operations.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel and basic computer applications.
- Good documentation and record-keeping skills.
- Strong coordination and follow-up skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet dispatch deadlines.
- Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with ERP/WMS software will be an advantage.

Qualification & Experience

- Qualification: Graduate preferred.
- Experience: 3 years+ in Dispatch, Logistics, Warehouse, or Supply Chain operations.
- Candidates from Retail, Textile, Apparel, FMCG, or Distribution backgrounds will be preferred.

- Timely and accurate dispatch.
- Dispatch documentation accuracy.
- Order fulfillment and shipment tracking.
- Reduction in dispatch errors and damages.
- Timely coordination with transporters.
- Accuracy of dispatch MIS and records.
