Job Description – Quality Control (QC) Engineer

Qualification: Mechanical Engineering Graduate

Objective:

1. Improve the quality of production work and processes.
2. Ensure zero rejection or deviations during pre-dispatch inspection, site inspection, and after installation.
3. Successfully explicit all Third Party Inspection (TPI) requirements.
4. Key ActivitiesEnsure production is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and documents.
5. Monitor quality at various stages of production to minimize rework and avoid final-stage rejection.
6. Attend and coordinate Third Party Inspections (TPI) and obtain approvals.
7. Maintain complete project quality documentation and records.
8. Submit project quality reports and recommendations for continuous improvement.
9. Ensure safety compliance on the shop floor.

Maintain records of plant machinery maintenance to reduce breakdowns and improve reliability.
11. Coordinate with production and other departments to resolve quality-related issues.
12. Conduct inspections of raw materials, fabrication, assembly, and finished products.

- Root Cause Analysis & Problem Solving
- Basic Knowledge of Shop Floor Safety

Educational Qualification:

- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

Experience:

- Experience in fabrication, heavy engineering, crane manufacturing, or related industries will be preferred.
