We are looking for an experienced BDM / International Project Consultant who has a proven track record of acquiring and managing international projects through freelancing and online project marketplaces such as Freelancer, Upwork, Guru, PeoplePerHour, Fiverr and similar platforms.

The candidate will be responsible for the complete project lifecycle — from identifying opportunities and communicating with international clients to project acquisition, requirement gathering, coordination with technical teams, service delivery, client satisfaction, invoicing and final payment confirmation.

The ideal candidate must currently be working with an organization and should have strong experience in B2B international customer communication, project negotiation, client relationship management and end-to-end project handling.

Key Responsibilities

1. Identify and qualify international project opportunities through Freelancer, Upwork, Guru, PeoplePerHour, Fiverr and other platforms.
2. Search, evaluate and bid on relevant technical and non-technical projects.
3. Prepare customized proposals, bids and commercial offers based on client requirements.
4. Conduct negotiations regarding scope, pricing, timelines and deliverables.
5. Convert qualified leads into confirmed projects and long-term clients.

Client Communication & Requirement Management

1. Communicate professionally with international clients through email, chat, video calls and project platforms.
2. Understand and document client requirements, business objectives, technical specifications and project expectations.
3. Act as the primary communication point between the client and internal project teams.
4. Handle client queries, clarifications, negotiations and change requests effectively.
5. Maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.

Project Management & Delivery

1. Manage projects from initial discussion → requirement gathering → project confirmation → execution → testing → delivery → client acceptance → payment confirmation.

Coordinate with developers, designers, technical teams, QA and other internal departments.
3. Track project milestones, deadlines, deliverables and client approvals.
4. Ensure projects are delivered according to agreed scope, quality standards and timelines.
5. Identify project risks, delays or scope deviations and coordinate corrective actions.

Commercial & Payment Management

1. Discuss project commercials, payment terms and milestones with clients.
2. Coordinate advance payments, milestone payments and final payments.
3. Follow up with clients for pending payments and payment confirmations.
4. Maintain proper records of project value, payment status, invoices and outstanding amounts.
5. Ensure that no project is considered commercially closed until the agreed payment is confirmed.

Account & Relationship GrowthDevelop long-term relationships with international clients.

- Identify opportunities for repeat business, additional projects and cross-selling.
- Maintain a strong client portfolio and improve customer retention.
- Build the organization's reputation and ratings on international project platforms.

Required Skills

- Proven experience in international business development / project consulting / freelance project management.
- Hands-on experience with one or more platforms such as: Freelancer, Upwork, Guru, PeoplePerHour, Fiverr, Toptal or similar international platforms
- Strong understanding of both technical and non-technical IT projects.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Strong client handling, negotiation and presentation skills.




- Ability to understand technical requirements and communicate them effectively to technical teams.
- Strong project coordination and follow-up capabilities.
- Good understanding of project costing, estimation, milestones and payment structures.
- Ability to work with international clients across different time zones.
- Strong ownership, accountability and commercial awareness.

Candidate Eligibility :

1. Candidate should be currently employed with an organization and have relevant professional experience.
2. Candidates with proven experience handling international clients and projects will be strongly preferred.
3. Experience in managing projects from lead generation to final payment collection is mandatory.
4. Candidates must demonstrate strong ownership of client communication and project execution.
5. Experience in independently managing multiple international projects will be an advantage.
