We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented professional to join our Chartered Accountant firm for handling NBFC compliance, RBI regulatory requirements, loan documentation and accounting-related work for our NBFC clients.
The ideal candidate should have practical knowledge of NBFC compliance and RBI returns, along with a good understanding of accounts, financial statements and balance sheets.
- Key ResponsibilitiesHandling day-to-day NBFC regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Preparation and filing of various RBI returns applicable to NBFCs.
- Monitoring RBI compliance requirements, due dates and regulatory changes.
- Handling and maintaining loan agreements, loan documentation and related records.
- Reviewing loan files and ensuring proper documentation and compliance.
- Assisting in preparation/review of NBFC books of accounts.
- Understanding and reviewing Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Account and other financial statements.
- Reconciliation and verification of loan-related accounts and balances.
- Assisting in preparation of schedules, statements and data required for RBI and statutory compliance.
- Coordinating with clients for required financial and compliance information.
- Maintaining proper documentation and compliance records.
- Assisting the CA in NBFC audit, regulatory compliance and reporting assignments.
- Keeping track of changes in RBI/NBFC regulations, circulars and reporting requirements.
- Performing other accounting and compliance work related to NBFC clients as required.
- Required Skills & QualificationsGraduate/Post Graduate in Commerce, Finance or Accounting.
- Practical experience in NBFC compliance/RBI compliance will be preferred.
- Valuable knowledge of Accounts and Balance Sheet preparation/review.
- Knowledge of loan accounting and loan documentation.
- Familiarity with RBI returns and NBFC regulatory requirements.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel.
- Knowledge of Tally/other accounting software will be an advantage.
- Good analytical and documentation skills.
- Ability to independently manage compliance deadlines and client requirements.
ExperiencePreferred Experience: 2–5 years in NBFC, CA firm, financial services or a similar compliance/accounting role.
Candidates with practical experience in RBI/NBFC compliance and returns will be given preference.
