- Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies using AutoCAD and PTC Creo.
- Create detailed 3D models, manufacturing drawings, and engineering documentation.
- Manage product development activities, including design, prototyping, testing, and validation.
- Develop and improve jigs and fixtures to reduce cycle time and enhance product quality.
- Work closely with the Production and Design & Development (D&D;) teams to ensure smooth product implementation.
- Optimize manufacturing processes to improve productivity, efficiency, and product quality.
- Prepare and evaluate material samples for product development.
- Define manufacturing process guidelines to achieve optimum functionality and quality standards.
- Possess a good understanding of CNC and VMC machines, machining operations, and production planning.
- Select and recommend appropriate cutting tools for manufacturing operations.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in production processes and implement effective solutions.
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards, quality requirements, and safety regulations.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical design and production engineering.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and PTC Creo for 2D drafting and 3D modeling.
- Good understanding of CNC/VMC machining processes and manufacturing operations.
- Experience in product development, prototyping, and testing.
- Knowledge of jig and fixture design.
- Familiarity with cutting tools and machining parameters.
- Robust analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Creative thinking with the ability to conceptualize and develop innovative mechanical designs.
