Billing & Estimation Engineer – Commercial, Residential & Interior Projects

Location: Pimple Nilakh, Balewadi & Sadashiv Peth,Pune

- Job Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs, BOQs, cost estimates, and project budgets for commercial, residential, and interior projects.
- Prepare client and contractor bills based on project measurements and executed work.
- Verify measurements, quantities, rates, and supporting documents before processing bills.
- Prepare and submit running account (RA) bills, final bills, and subcontractor bills.
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, contractors, architects, and clients for billing-related requirements.
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and project documents to ensure accurate estimation.
- Prepare rate analysis and compare material, labour, and subcontractor costs.
- Track project expenses and monitor costs against approved budgets.
- Identify variations, additional works,



and deviations and prepare necessary cost statements.
- Maintain proper records of measurements, bills, invoices, work orders, and supporting documents.
- Assist in tendering, vendor/subcontractor negotiations, and commercial evaluations.
- Prepare regular MIS and reports related to project billing and cost control.
- Ensure timely submission and certification of bills.

- Requirements

- Bachelor’s/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in billing and estimation.
- Experience in commercial, residential, and interior projects is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of BOQ, quantity surveying, rate analysis, and billing procedures.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Excel.
- Valuable communication, analytical, negotiation, and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
