Duties and Responsibilities
• Lead and mentor a team of QA Engineers, ensuring adherence to quality standards and best practices.
• Define and implement QA strategy, test plans, test cases, and test automation frameworks.
• Drive end-to-end testing activities including Functional, Integration, Regression, System, UAT, and Performance Testing.
• Review business and functional requirements to identify test scope, risks, and quality objectives.
• Develop and maintain Playwright automation scripts using JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Write and maintain feature files and step definitions using Cucumber BDD.
• Execute functional, regression, smoke and end-to-end testing.
• Create and manage test cases in Azure DevOps Test Plans.
• Log, track and validate defects using Azure DevOps Boards.
• Generate test execution and defect reports.
Required Qualifications and Experience




• 5-8 years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance with at least 2 years in a team lead role.
• Solid experience in Test Management, Test Strategy, and Test Planning.
• Hands-on experience in Test Automation using Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar tools.
• Experience with API Testing tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile, and Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar ALM/Test Management tools.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps Pipelines, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Experience in automation framework design and implementation.
• Strong defect management, risk assessment, and quality governance skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience in Banking, Financial Services, CRM, Loan Origination, or Enterprise Applications will be preferred.
