Profile: Sales Engineer

Experience:

- 2-4 years of experience in sales of capital goods or engineering products.
- Candidates with experience in selling products such as Generators, Cables, Pumps, Motors, Compressors, Switchgears, Lighting, Electrical Equipment or other capital goods will be preferred.

Roles:

- Develop new business opportunities and generate leads for the company's power generation, electrical and engineering products.
- Identify and approach potential customers across industrial and commercial segments to generate sales opportunities.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable technical products or solutions.
- Conduct customer visits, product presentations and technical discussions with prospective and existing clients.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms and follow up with customers to convert enquiries into orders.




- Maintain regular communication with customers and develop robust long-term business relationships.
- Coordinate with the technical, engineering and service teams to ensure smooth execution of customer requirements.
- Follow up on enquiries, proposals, orders and payments to achieve assigned sales targets.
- Identify market opportunities, monitor competitor activities and provide relevant market feedback to the management.
- Maintain proper records of leads, customer interactions, quotations, orders and sales activities.

Qualifications:

Engineering background is mandatory. Candidates may have any of the following qualifications:

- ITI
- Diploma in Engineering
- BE / B. Tech
- B. Sc. / M. Sc. Electronics
- Any other relevant engineering or technical qualification
