Job Description Position Summary: n n AssetMark is a leading wealth management platform dedicated to empowering financial advisors and the investors they serve. As we continue to expand our global capabilities, we are establishing a Global Capability Center (GCC) in Hyderabad to enhance our operational excellence, strengthen strategic capabilities, and support our long-term growth.n n We are seeking an experienced Finance leader to establish and lead the Finance organization within our India GCC. Reporting to Finance leadership in the U.S., this individual will play a pivotal role in building and scaling a high performing Finance organization supporting Controllership, Financial Planning&Analysis; (FP&A;), and Billing. n n This leader will partner closely with US Finance leadership to build scalable global finance operations supporting key accounting processes while fostering a culture aligned with AssetMark’s values across the India GCC. n n Roles&Responsibilities;: n n Lead and develop the Finance organization within the India GCC, fostering a culture aligned with AssetMark’s values and mission. n Oversee key parts of Finance operations, including Controllership, FP&A;[ Financial Planning and Analysis ], and Billing. n Oversee operational accounting activities, including accurate and timely transaction recording, reconciliations, and close processes. n Oversee FP&A; activities including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis. n Oversee Fee Billing activities and ensure accuracy, efficiency, and strong operational controls. n Drive finance transformation through process standardization, automation,
and continuous improvement initiatives.n Develop and monitor operational metrics and KPIs to measure performance and service delivery. n Build strong relationships with Finance and business leaders across the U.S. and India. n Maintain compliance with Indian accounting standards, U.S. GAAP, company policies, and internal controls.n Support internal and external reporting requirements and audit activities. n n n Required Qualifications: n n Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. n Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or equivalent professional accounting qualification.n 15 to 20 years of progressive Finance and Accounting experience. n Experience leading Finance teams in a Global Capability Center (GCC), Shared Services, or Global Business Services organization. n Solid knowledge of India GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls. n Experience managing Finance Operations, including AP, AR, GL, Cash Management, and T&E.; n Leadership experience building and developing high-performing teams. n Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey key operating metrics and complex financial information clearly to diverse audiences. n Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. n nn Preferred Qualifications: n n Big Four public accounting experience. n Experience establishing or scaling a Finance organization within a GCC. n Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle NetSuite n Financial Services, Wealth Management, or FinTech industry experience. n Experience leading finance transformation or process improvement initiatives.n n
