Job Description: A Junior (JR) Fitter is an entry-to-mid-level technical qualified who assists senior technicians or engineers with assembling, installing, and maintaining mechanical equipment, structural components, and metal parts. They work in manufacturing plants, workshops, and industrial sites to ensure machinery runs safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities

- Assist Assembly: Put together mechanical parts and sub-assemblies using hand tools and power tools.

- Read Blueprints: Follow basic engineering drawings, diagrams, and technical specifications.

- Material Prep: Measure, cut, grind, and shape metal pieces.

- Maintenance Support: Help clean, oil, repair, and check machinery for routine operational problems.

- Use Instruments: Measure workpieces accurately with tools like Vernier calipers and micrometers.

- Follow Safety:



Keep the work area clean and obey safety rules.

Requirements & Skills
- Education: High school diploma plus an or technical diploma.

- Experience: 0 to 2 years of hands-on workshop or industrial experience.

- Core Skills: Good grip on basic hand tools, metal shaping, and measuring techniques.

- Physical Fitness: Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy parts.
