Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented R&D; Engineer to join our Product Development team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in product development, preparing technical specifications from engineering drawings, product costing, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to develop innovative and cost-effective products.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop recent products and improve existing products based on customer and market requirements.
- Prepare technical specifications, BOMs, and documentation as per engineering drawings.
- Analyze engineering drawings and ensure design feasibility for manufacturing.
- Work on product costing and cost optimization during the product development stage.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Purchase, and other departments for smooth product development and implementation.
- Support prototype development, testing, validation, and product modifications.
- Prepare technical reports,



product documentation, and engineering records.
- Participate in value engineering and continuous product improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards and quality requirements.

Required Skills

- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering concepts.
- Experience in product development and technical documentation.
- Ability to prepare technical specifications from engineering drawings.
- Working knowledge of product costing.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and coordination abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office.

Preferred Skills

- Knowledge of AutoCAD will be an added advantage.
- Exposure to manufacturing processes and engineering documentation.
- Familiarity with cost reduction and value engineering techniques.

Candidate Profile

- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in R&D;/Product Development within a manufacturing environment.
- Self-motivated, innovative, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
