The HR Manager will oversee end-to-end recruitment processes and manage payroll operations to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time. This role ensures compliance with labor laws, enhances hiring strategies, and maintains employee satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
1. Talent Acquisition
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies
- Manage the full hiring cycle (job posting, screening, interviewing, onboarding)
- Collaborate with department heads to understand hiring needs
- Build talent pipelines and employer branding initiatives
- Use ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems) to streamline hiring
- Conduct background checks and reference verification
2. Payroll Management
- Process monthly payroll accurately and on time
- Manage salary structures, bonuses, incentives, and deductions
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (PF, ESI, TDS, etc.)
- Handle payroll audits and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain payroll records and reports
3. Compliance & Policies
- Ensure adherence to labor laws and company policies
- Update HR policies related to compensation and hiring
- Coordinate with finance and legal teams
4. Employee Lifecycle Management
- Oversee onboarding and exit processes
- Maintain employee records and HRIS systems
- Address employee queries related to salary and hiring
5. Reporting & Analytics
- Generate recruitment metrics (time-to-hire, cost-per-hire)
- Prepare payroll reports and budgeting forecasts
- Analyse HR data to improve decision-making
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of HR experience (with focus on recruitment & payroll)
- Knowledge of labor laws and payroll compliance
- Robust communication and organizational skills
