Job Purpose:Produce High-Quality Products with Proper welding, Painting & PDI quality systems, through implementation of positive build in quality & Inspection system.Principal Accountabilities:Establish and Implement QA plansEstablish quality assurance plans / check sheets along with design & development to ensure that all quality parameters are along with field & process quality.Co-ordinate with production manager on the quality requirements / check sheets / critical parameters for all production itemsResponsible for scheduling of all quality control personnel to ensure smooth work flow and as per production targetsSupport production manager in permanently resolving – recurring issues through development of check sheets / checking templates / poka –yokesAnalytics and Reporting on QualityAnalyze & approve CAPA report and take appropriate countermeasures to mitigate repetitionsResponsible for implementation of all CAPA reports across the organization including horizontal deploymentResponsible for welding documents preparation like WPS, PQR, WPQ, Welder Continuity records,
welder training records etc.People Management and Development Train all zone QC on proper method to use check sheets and ensure that the same is followed in production without any missCo-ordinate with customer quality manager on customer requirements and all other aspectsTraining to all welders – on weld quality through welding engineersTrain and develop all zone QC and zone leaders on welding qualityKnowledge & Skills needed to deliver on the accountabilities:Project management skillsThe ability to interpret data and statisticsProblem solving skills and initiativeLeadership and management skillsFamiliarity with quality standards and processesWelding quality standards.Knowledge of QC toolsLevels of Poka-yoke systemsMethods of quality InspectionsSkills Matrix & Periodic evaluationsFormal Education Requirements, as applicable: B.
