We combine creative talent with emerging technologies to develop innovative and engaging content.About the RoleThe Film Editor will be responsible for transforming raw footage, animation, and other visual assets into engaging and impactful stories. The ideal candidate should have a strong sense of storytelling, pacing, rhythm, and visual aesthetics.You will work closely with Directors, Producers, Art Directors, Animators, VFX Artists, and other creative teams to deliver high-quality content from the initial edit to the final output.Key ResponsibilitiesEdit films, commercials, branded content, digital videos, and other creative projects.Work with Directors and creative teams to understand the storytelling and creative vision.Assemble raw footage, animation, VFX shots, music, sound, and graphics into compelling narratives.Ensure the right pacing, rhythm, continuity, and emotional impact in every edit.Collaborate with VFX, Animation, Motion Graphics, Sound, and DI teams during post-production.Manage multiple projects and deliver edits within agreed timelines.Organize and manage footage, project files, and media assets efficiently.Create rough cuts, fine cuts, and final edits based on creative feedback.Stay updated with current editing techniques, formats,



and emerging AI-powered creative tools.Explore and use AI-assisted workflows to improve efficiency and creative output where relevant.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree or diploma in Film Editing, Media, Film Production, or a related field. Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.3–7 years of experience as a Film Editor, Video Editor, or Offline Editor.Strong portfolio or showreel demonstrating storytelling and editing skills.Experience editing commercials, films, digital content, branded content, or entertainment projects.Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, continuity, music, and sound.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced creative environment.Technical SkillsAdobe Premiere ProAvid Media Composer or DaVinci ResolveAdobe After Effects – basic to intermediate knowledge preferredUnderstanding of post-production and finishing workflowsKnowledge of different video formats, codecs, and delivery requirementsFamiliarity with VFX and animation workflows is an advantageExperience with AI-powered editing or content creation tools is a plusPreferred QualificationsExperience working with Animation, VFX, or AI-generated content.Knowledge of motion graphics and basic compositing.Experience in long-form and short-form content.Familiarity with AI-powered creative and editing tools.Strong understanding of post-production workflows, including sound, DI, and final delivery.Key SkillsFilm and Video EditingVisual StorytellingNarrative StructurePacing and RhythmCreative Problem-SolvingAttention to DetailCollaborationTime ManagementPost-Production WorkflowAdaptability to New Technologies
