About the RoleWe are looking for a Mechatronics Engineer to join our R&D; and product development team. The candidate will be involved in developing and improving medical, physiotherapy and rehabilitation equipment, combining mechanical systems, electronics, motors, sensors and basic automation.

The role is ideal for someone who enjoys building, testing and improving physical products and prototypes.

- Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop mechanical and electromechanical systems for medical and physiotherapy equipment.
- Work on mechanisms involving motors, actuators, gears, belts, lead screws and linear motion systems.
- Assist in development of motorized movement and positioning systems.
- Integrate mechanical components with motors, sensors, controllers and electronics.
- Develop and test prototypes and proof-of-concept mechanisms.
- Assist in selecting motors, bearings, actuators, sensors and other mechanical/electromechanical components.
- Prepare and modify mechanical designs and assemblies.
- Work with the embedded/electronics engineer for system integration.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and motion-related problems during prototype development.
- Perform testing of mechanisms for movement, load, accuracy, repeatability and reliability.
- Assist in product improvement and modification of existing equipment.
- Coordinate with vendors and manufacturers for fabrication of mechanical components.
- Prepare basic drawings, BOMs and technical documentation.
- Support development of new products from concept through prototype and testing.




- Desired Technical SkillsGood understanding of mechanical systems and electromechanical mechanisms.
- Knowledge of motors, actuators and motion-control systems.
- Understanding of stepper motors, servo motors and motor drivers will be an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of sensors and control systems.
- Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Fusion 360 or similar.
- Ability to understand mechanical drawings and prepare basic fabrication drawings.
- Knowledge of 3D printing and rapid prototyping will be an advantage.
- Basic understanding of electronics and embedded systems.
- Knowledge of pneumatic systems will be an advantage.
- Practical knowledge of fabrication processes, machining and sheet-metal work will be an advantage.
- Educational QualificationB.Tech / B.E. / Diploma in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Robotics or a related field.

Experience1–4 years of relevant experience preferred.

Freshers with robust hands-on project experience in robotics, automation, mechanical systems or mechatronics may also be considered.
