Job Description –

Role: Laundry Washer / Pressman

Location: UClean, Satya The Hive, Sector 102, Gurgaon

Key Responsibilities:

- Sort and prepare garments based on fabric type, color, washing instructions, and garment care requirements.
- Operate commercial washing machines and dryers safely and efficiently.
- Measure and use the appropriate detergents, cleaning agents, and fabric softeners as per prescribed procedures.
- Handle garments carefully to prevent damage, color bleeding, shrinkage, or fabric deterioration.
- Check garments for stains, spots, and special cleaning requirements and carry out appropriate spot-treatment procedures.
- Operate pressing/ironing equipment and ensure garments are neatly pressed and finished as required.
- Fold and package clothes and linens neatly according to UClean quality standards.
- Inspect washed and pressed garments for cleanliness, quality, stains, damage, and completeness before dispatch.
- Ensure customer orders are properly segregated, packed, labelled, and ready for pickup/delivery.
- Maintain a clean, hygienic, and organized work area at all times.
- Handle customers' garments with care, responsibility,



and attention to detail.
- Report any machine, equipment, or operational issues immediately to the Store Manager.
- Maintain accurate records of orders processed, completed, pending, and rework requirements.
- Follow all laundry safety, garment-care, quality-control, and operational procedures.
- Support the team during busy periods to ensure orders are completed on time.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Previous experience in laundry, dry cleaning, garment care, ironing/pressing, hotel laundry, or similar work is preferred.
- Good understanding of fabric care, washing, stain treatment, drying and pressing will be an advantage.
- Should be responsible, punctual, physically fit, and comfortable working in a rapid-paced environment.
- Must have a strong focus on garment safety and quality.
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions carefully.
