Role Overview
Director Corporate Affairs will be responsible for building and maintaining strategic relationships with
government ministries, regulatory authorities, embassies, industry associations(FICCI, CII, etc.),Unilateral agencies and other key stakeholders. The role involves lobbying, policy advocacy, and representing the organization’s interests at various forums to strengthen its positioning and influence.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute corporate affairs strategy aligned with organizational goals.
Build strong relationships with government ministries, regulatory bodies, and authorities to support
business objectives.
Liaise with embassies, ambassadors, and diplomatic missions to foster international cooperation and
partnerships.
Represent the company at industry associations such as FICCI, CII, ASSOCHAM, and other chambers of
commerce.
Monitor policy developments, regulatory changes, and government initiatives impacting the industry.
Engage in lobbying and advocacy efforts to influence policy decisions in favor of the organization.
Prepare position papers, policy briefs, and communication material for government and industry
stakeholders.
Organize and participate in high-level meetings, conferences, and networking events.
Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements in corporate affairs activities.
Act as a spokesperson for the company in external forums when required.

Qualifications & Experience
Postgraduate degree in Public Policy, Political Science, International Relations, Business
Administration, or related field.
8–12 years of experience in corporate affairs, government relations, or public policy roles.
Proven track record of working with ministries, embassies, and industry associations.
Experience in lobbying, advocacy, and stakeholder management at seniorlevels.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Number and quality of strategic relationships established with ministries, embassies, and industry
bodies.
Successful lobbying outcomes and policy influence achieved.
Representation and visibility of the company in industry forums.
Timely monitoring and reporting of policy/regulatory developments.
Contribution to business growth through effective external engagement.
