Job Description:
We are a leading chocolate manufacturing company committed to producing high-quality products that bring joy to our customers. Our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Navi Mumbai is looking for a agile and experienced Operations Head to lead and optimize our production and operational processes.

Position Overview:
The Operations Head will be responsible for overseeing the entire manufacturing and supply chain operations, ensuring smooth production processes, efficient resource utilization, and timely delivery of high-quality chocolate products. This leadership role requires strong expertise in production management, team coordination, and continuous process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership: Lead and manage day-to-day operations across production, quality control, and distribution to meet business objectives and customer demands.

Production Management: Oversee the entire production process to ensure smooth operations, on-time delivery, and adherence to safety, quality, and efficiency standards.

Process Optimization: Drive continuous improvement in manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve product quality.

Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of supervisors, technicians, and operators to ensure alignment with business goals and foster a culture of collaboration and accountability.

Inventory and Supply Chain Management:



Manage raw material procurement, production planning, inventory levels, and distribution logistics to ensure the uninterrupted flow of operations.

Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and internal quality control processes to guarantee product consistency and safety.

- Budgeting & Cost Control: Oversee budgeting for the operations department, monitor costs, and identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining product quality.

- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with senior leadership, product development, sales, and marketing teams to align operations with strategic company goals.

- Technology Integration: Explore and implement new technologies and automation systems to improve operational efficiency and streamline production processes.

- Reporting & Analysis: Prepare regular reports on operational performance, identify key metrics, and provide actionable insights to improve overall efficiency.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related field (MBA or Post-Graduate qualifications will be a plus).

Experience: Minimum 8+ years of experience in operations management, ideally in chocolate manufacturing or a related food production industry.

Location: Navi Mumbai, with a willingness to work at the manufacturing facility.
