Job Description SolarSquare | Content Creator
n Location: Bangalore
n Experience Required: 4 years
n If you're the kind of person who can walk up to a stranger, make them smile, get them talking on camera, and then turn that into a killer video within hours, we should talk.
n At SolarSquare, we're not looking for someone to sit behind a desk and "plan content." We want someone who's out there, in the real world, capturing stories that actually matter.
n What you'll be doing (basically your day-to-day):
n Visiting our customers across cities and getting them to share their solar journey on camera
n Breaking the ice with people who've never spoken on video before (and making it feel natural)
n Shooting testimonials, candid moments, and anything interesting you spot on-site
n Grabbing quick, sharp snippets with founders and team members
n Creating short-form content for SolarSquare's social channels
n Editing videos fast—Reels, Shorts, whatever works—while the story is still fresh
n Figuring out what content will click, not just what looks "nice"
n You'll fit right in if you:
n Are super comfortable talking to new people (you don't wait, you initiate)
n Don't freeze when a camera is on
n Can direct people casually without making it awkward




n Know how to shoot AND edit (phone or camera—doesn't matter, output does)
n Think quick, move fast, and don't need hand-holding
n Know how to translate brand RTBs into engaging, consumable content
n Are okay traveling across Tier 1 cities
n Stay on top of short-form video trends and adapt them to brand storytelling
n Have a strong instinct for fast-paced, engaging edits (hooks, jump cuts, captions, pattern interrupts)
n Use AI tools to speed up editing, captions, and ideation
n Continuously experiment, iterate, and improve content based on performance and learnings
n Bonus points if you:
n Have done street interviews / vox pops / customer stories
n Are already making content on Instagram / YouTube
n Have a strong sense of what works in short-form video
n What this is NOT:
n Not a "sit and design posts" job
n Not a slow, over-polished production setup
n Not for someone who needs scripts for everything
n What you'll get:
