Job Description Role Overview
n The Project Controller ensures strong financial governance, accurate reporting, and commercial discipline across the lifecycle of infrastructure/EPC/renewable projects. The role drives integrated performance visibility by combining project control , FP&A; , and Financial Reporting (FR) responsibilities while partnering with Project Managers and Finance leadership.

n Key Responsibilities
n ⭐ Project Financial Control
n n Develop and manage project budgets, cost baselines, and structure of accounts.
n Track expenditures vs. budget; analyze cost-to-complete and productivity trends.
n Validate contractor/vendor bills including BOQ/RA bills and contractual compliance.
n Perform earned value analysis and monitor working capital efficiency at site.
n Ensuring consol control from project site finance.
n n ⭐ FP&A; — Financial Planning & Analysis
n n Support annual operating plans and long-range planning for project portfolio.
n Conduct scenario modeling, pricing analysis, and sensitivity analysis for risks.
n Drive performance improvement through variance analysis and actionable insights.
n n ⭐ FR — Financial Reporting & Compliance
n n Prepare monthly MIS decks including revenue, margins, provisioning and KPIs.
n Ensure accurate revenue recognition (as per Ind-AS / IFRS) and project capitalization.
n Support internal, statutory and lender audits with required documentation.




n Ensure compliance with finance policies, internal controls, and corporate governance.
n n ⭐ Commercial & Contract Assurance
n n Assist evaluation of claims, change orders, escalation events and risk sharing clauses.
n Provide commercial insights during negotiations with vendors and subcontractors.
n Coordinate with procurement and contracts team on commitment control and bill closure.
n n ⭐ Stakeholder & Risk Management
n n Provide financial decision support to Project Managers and site teams.
n Escalate risks around delays, cost overruns, provisions, LDs, RoW issues and land costs.
n Monitor cash positions, receivables, advances, retention, LDs and vendor exposure.
n n
n Qualifications & Skills
n n Chartered Accountant with 3–5 years experience in:
n ▸ Project Finance / Project Costing / EPC / Infrastructure / Renewables
n Strong understanding of Ind-AS/IFRS , control frameworks and audit requirements.
n Advanced skills in Excel , SAP and financial reporting tools.
n Analytical, proactive, and robust business partnering capability.
