Role Description The Weekend Sales Associate is a part-time, in office role based in Chennai, supporting customer-facing operations during weekends. This role includes welcoming and assisting customers, explaining product features and ingredient integrity, and guiding them toward suitable pantry solutions.

The Weekend Sales

Associate will handle point-of-sale activities,



process transactions accurately, manage basic stock checks, and ensure that displays and sampling stations are well-organised and visually appealing. The role also involves gathering customer feedback, answering product and usage questions, maintaining hygiene standards in the retail area, and supporting small promotional or tasting events as needed.

Qualifications

- Customer service and sales skills, including the ability to engage shoppers, understand their needs, and recommend appropriate products.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to clearly explain product features, ingredients, and usage to diverse customers.
- Basic retail operations skills such as handling POS systems, managing cash or digital payments, and performing simple inventory checks.
- Interest in food, clean-label products, and modern pantry solutions, with a willingness to learn detailed product information.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, manage a fast-paced weekend environment, and maintain organised, hygienic display areas.
- Prior experience in retail, FMCG, or food service is an advantage but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Availability to work weekends regularly, with a reliable commute to the on-site location in Chennai.
