Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Manager – Finished Goods, Packing & Logistics to manage end-to-end finished goods operations, including inventory, warehouse storage, packing, dispatch, transportation and customer delivery. The role will be responsible for ensuring accurate inventory, quality packing, timely dispatches, efficient transportation and optimum logistics costs.

Key Responsibilities

Finished Goods & Warehouse Management

- Manage finished goods inventory from production handover through final dispatch.
- Ensure proper identification, storage, preservation and traceability of finished goods.
- Monitor finished goods ageing, pending dispatches and warehouse space utilization.
- Ensure proper handling of finished products to prevent damage during storage and movement.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct inventory reconciliation.

Packing Operations

- Plan and control packing activities based on product, customer and transportation requirements.
- Ensure availability of packing materials.
- Maintain proper packing standards to prevent transit and handling damage.
- Monitor packing productivity and packing material costs.

Dispatch Planning & Execution

- Prepare and execute daily and weekly dispatch plans based on customer delivery commitments.
- Coordinate with Production, Planning, Quality and Sales teams for finished goods readiness and dispatch priorities.




- Ensure on-time dispatch and adherence to the dispatch plan.
- Ensure dispatch documentation, packing lists and shipping requirements are completed accurately.

Logistics & Transportation Management

- Manage vehicle planning, loading, transportation and shipment tracking.
- Coordinate with transporters for timely vehicle availability and delivery.
- Ensure optimum vehicle utilization and control logistics costs.
- Monitor transporter performance and resolve transportation-related issues.
- Track customer deliveries and proactively resolve transit and delivery issues.

Team Management & Process Improvement

- Manage and lead teams involved in finished goods, packing, dispatch and logistics operations.
- Drive 5S, safety and continuous improvement initiatives in warehouse, packing and dispatch areas.
- Monitor operational KPIs and take corrective actions to improve performance.

Qualification

- Graduate in any discipline.
- Diploma / Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or related field preferred.

Experience

- 8–10 years of overall experience.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in finished goods, packing, dispatch and logistics.
- Experience in a manufacturing / engineering / industrial products environment is preferred.
- Experience managing warehouse, packing, dispatch and logistics teams is essential.

Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in finished goods warehouse, packing, dispatch and logistics operations, with the ability to manage teams, transporters, inventory and customer deliveries while maintaining cost, quality and delivery targets. Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹750,000.00 per year
