Sales Order Executive (Custom Jewellery Orders)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Sales Order Executive to manage customized jewellery orders from concept to delivery. The role involves understanding customer design requirements, coordinating with the design and karigar (artisan) teams, obtaining management approvals, and ensuring timely execution of bespoke jewellery orders. The ideal candidate should have strong jewellery product knowledge, customer handling skills, and experience in custom order management.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Requirement Gathering

- Meet customers and understand their jewellery design requirements, preferences, budget, and timelines.
- Provide guidance on design feasibility, metal options, gemstones, diamonds, and craftsmanship.
- Prepare detailed order specifications based on customer requirements.

Design Coordination

- Coordinate with the design team to create sketches, CAD designs, or design concepts.
- Present design options to customers and collect feedback.
- Ensure all design modifications are incorporated accurately.

Management Approval

- Prepare order proposals including design specifications, estimated cost, weight, and delivery timelines.
- Obtain necessary approvals from management before initiating production.
- Maintain records of approved designs and order documentation.

Karigar & Production Coordination

- Coordinate with karigars and production teams for execution of approved designs.
- Ensure design specifications are clearly communicated to artisans.




- Monitor production progress and address any issues during manufacturing.
- Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the production process.

Order Tracking & Delivery

- Track order status from design approval to final delivery.
- Coordinate with inventory, production, and quality control teams.
- Keep customers informed regarding order progress and expected delivery dates.
- Ensure timely completion and delivery of customized jewellery orders.

Customer Relationship Management

- Build solid relationships with customers by providing exceptional service.
- Handle customer queries, modifications, and post-delivery feedback professionally.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Eligibility Criteria

- Graduate in any discipline.
- 4 + years of experience in Jewellery Retail, Custom Jewellery Orders, Order Management, or Production Coordination.
- Experience in Gold, Diamond, Precious Stone, or Luxury Jewellery is preferred.
