Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / Scrum Master Technology to drive the planning, coordination, execution, and successful delivery of software and technology projects in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Project Manager will work closely with Engineering, Product Management, Business Analysts, QA, Database, DevOps, Architecture, and other cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with expected quality.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience managing multiple technology workstreams, Agile/Scrum teams, project dependencies, risks, issues, metrics, stakeholder communication, and executive reporting. Experience in Healthcare, PBM, Insurance, or other regulated healthcare technology environments is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Planning & Delivery

- Own end-to-end planning, coordination, tracking, and delivery of technology projects.
- Work closely with Product, Business, Engineering, QA, Architecture, Database, DevOps, and other stakeholders to establish project scope, objectives, milestones, and delivery timelines.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, and delivery roadmaps.
- Track project progress against committed timelines and proactively identify deviations.
- Coordinate multiple teams and workstreams to ensure smooth execution and timely delivery.
- Ensure project deliverables meet defined scope, quality, and business expectations.
- Drive projects through planning, development, testing, deployment, and closure.
- Ensure proper project closure, including documentation, lessons learned, and outstanding action items.

1. Agile / Scrum Management

- Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies including:
- Daily Stand-ups
- Sprint Planning
- Backlog Refinement / Grooming
- Sprint Reviews / Demos
- Retrospectives
- Scrum of Scrums, where applicable
- Work with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Engineering Leads to ensure effective Agile execution.
- Track sprint commitments, velocity, capacity, blockers, dependencies, and delivery risks.
- Identify impediments and coordinate with appropriate stakeholders for timely resolution.
- Promote Agile principles, transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement across teams.
- Ensure teams maintain appropriate Agile practices and project hygiene.

1. Risk, Issue & Dependency Management

- Maintain project RAID logs covering Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies.
- Proactively identify potential delivery risks and develop mitigation plans.
- Escalate critical risks and issues to management with clear impact and recommended actions.
- Track cross-team and external dependencies through resolution.
- Ensure project blockers are clearly owned and followed through to closure.
- Assess the impact of scope changes, technical dependencies, resource constraints, and timeline changes.

1. Stakeholder & Cross-Team Collaboration

- Serve as a key coordination point between Technology, Product, Business, QA, Operations,



and other stakeholders.
- Drive effective communication across distributed and multi-team environments.
- Organize and facilitate project/status meetings and ensure clear meeting outcomes.
- Prepare and distribute meeting minutes, decisions, action items, owners, and due dates.
- Follow up on action items and ensure timely closure.
- Collaboratively drive decisions and resolve conflicts or competing priorities.
- Provide transparent and timely project status updates to leadership.

1. Project Metrics & Reporting

- Prepare and publish daily, weekly, and monthly project status reports.
- Track and report key project metrics such as:
- Project progress
- Sprint velocity
- Delivery predictability
- Planned vs. actual delivery
- Open/closed issues
- Risks and dependencies
- Defects and quality metrics
- Resource/capacity utilization
- Backlog status
- Milestone achievement
- Analyze project data and provide meaningful insights to management.
- Develop dashboards and executive-level project summaries as required.
- Highlight trends, risks, delays, and areas requiring management attention.

1. Scope & Change Management

- Monitor project scope and ensure changes are properly evaluated and documented.
- Coordinate impact analysis for scope, timeline, resource, and technical changes.
- Ensure appropriate stakeholder approval before incorporating significant changes into project plans.
- Prevent uncontrolled scope expansion and communicate delivery impacts clearly.

1. Documentation & Governance

- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including:
- Project plans
- Project schedules
- RAID logs
- Status reports
- Meeting minutes
- Action-item trackers
- Dependency trackers
- Release plans
- Project dashboards
- Decision logs
- Lessons learned
- Ensure project governance and reporting processes are consistently followed.
- Maintain appropriate project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications
1. Education

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Management, or a related field required.
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Technology Management, or a related field is a plus.

1. Professional Experience

- 8–12 years of experience in IT Project Management, Technical Project Management, Program Coordination, or Scrum Master roles.
- Demonstrated experience managing software development and technology projects in a multi-team environment.
- Strong experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience managing projects from initiation through delivery and closure.
- Experience coordinating distributed/offshore and onsite technology teams.
- Experience preparing project metrics, dashboards, and management reports.




- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Experience managing project risks, issues, dependencies, milestones, and delivery commitments.
- Ability to organize and execute projects in a consistent, repeatable, and reliable manner.
- Healthcare, PBM, Insurance, or healthcare technology experience is highly preferred.
- Experience working in a regulated or enterprise technology environment is an advantage.

- Microsoft TFS / Azure DevOps
- Jira
- Experience creating project dashboards, metrics, and management reports.
- Understanding of software development technologies, databases, APIs, cloud platforms, and CI/CD concepts is preferred.
- Technical background sufficient to effectively communicate with Engineering, QA, Architecture, Database, and DevOps teams.

Preferred Healthcare / PBM Knowledge Candidates with experience in Healthcare, Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM), Insurance, or healthcare technology are strongly preferred.

Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal candidate is a strong technology project manager with Agile/Scrum expertise, rather than someone focused only on conducting Scrum ceremonies. The candidate should be capable of understanding technical discussions, coordinating multiple engineering teams, challenging delivery risks, managing dependencies, communicating effectively with senior leadership, and taking ownership of the project from initiation through production delivery and closure.
