Role Overview
We are looking for a University Alliance Manager who can build and strengthen relationships with colleges, universities, communities, government stakeholders, and employers to support training, skilling, internship, and placement initiatives.
The ideal candidate should have strong stakeholder management and communication skills, good local connects, and the ability to drive outreach, mobilization and placement outcomes.
Key Duties/Responsibilities
- Build and manage strong relationships with colleges, universities, TPOs and other academic stakeholders to support training and placement initiatives.
- Develop and execute college and community outreach plans for student/youth mobilization and engagement.
- Build connections with local communities and support outreach among youth, particularly those requiring skilling and livelihood opportunities.
- Coordinate with Government and other relevant stakeholders for skilling and training initiatives.
- Identify and develop employer connects to create internship and placement opportunities for trained candidates.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders for smooth execution of training, skilling and placement programs.
- Support institutional partnerships and agreements that enable project implementation and access to students/youth.
- Conduct outreach activities, counselling, workshops and other engagement activities to improve candidate participation and conversions.
- Maintain accurate candidate, partner and placement data and ensure timely MIS and reporting.
- Monitor outreach and conversion activities and work towards achieving agreed targets.
- Represent GTT Foundation at relevant academic, employment, community and stakeholder events to strengthen outreach and visibility.
- Identify new partnership opportunities and contribute to expanding GTT Foundation's network and program reach.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with students, communities, colleges, TPOs, government stakeholders and employers.
- Good relationship-building and networking skills with the ability to develop and maintain long-term partnerships.
- Strong local/community connects and an understanding of the education, skilling and placement ecosystem.
- Ability to engage, counsel and motivate youth and drive participation in training and employment opportunities.
- Strong coordination, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Result-oriented approach with the ability to work towards outreach, mobilization, calling and conversion targets.
- Valuable understanding of placement coordination and ability to develop employer relationships.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word for maintaining databases, MIS and reports.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with internal and external teams.
- Proactive, adaptable and willing to travel for college visits, community outreach, partner meetings and program-related activities.
- Prior experience in education, skilling, CSR, employability or social-impact programs will be an advantage.
