Aadinath Bulk Pvt. Ltd. is a growing transportation company managing major projects including GSRTC, AMTS and Volvo bus operations.
We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to independently manage and oversee the smooth operation of 60–70+ buses. The candidate will be responsible for daily bus operations, manpower, maintenance coordination, client coordination, safety and operational performance.
Hands-on experience in managing 60–70+ buses is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations and deployment of 60–70+ buses.
- Plan routes, schedules and bus deployment as per operational requirements.
- Manage drivers, supervisors and operations staff.
- Monitor bus availability, utilization, punctuality and daily trips.
- Coordinate with maintenance/workshop teams for preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Monitor breakdowns, repair status and vehicle downtime.
- Handle operational issues, emergencies and service disruptions.
- Coordinate with clients, vendors and service providers.
- Monitor GPS/bus tracking and operational performance.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports.
- Ensure safety, compliance and operational discipline.
- Monitor operational costs and improve resource utilization.
- Identify and implement improvements in operational efficiency and service quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Automobile, Engineering, Management or a related field.
- 7+ years of relevant experience in bus/transportation/fleet operations.
- Mandatory: Proven hands-on experience managing 60–70+ buses.
- Strong team and manpower management experience.
- Good knowledge of bus operations and maintenance coordination.
- Experience with GPS/fleet tracking systems and MIS.
- Good MS Excel and reporting skills.
- Solid leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle pressure and make quick operational decisions.
- Experience in government/institutional transportation projects will be an advantage.
