Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Writer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SaaS platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create engaging, clear, and technically accurate content that supports Propel Apps products, services, and customer success initiatives.

Responsibilities

Content Creation: Develop comprehensive technical documentation, including user manuals, integration guides, API documentation, whitepapers, case studies, and FAQs.

Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, and subject matter experts to gather technical information and translate it into user-friendly content.

Knowledge Management: Maintain and update existing documentation to reflect product updates and new features.

Marketing Support: Partner with the marketing team to produce thought leadership articles, blog posts, and technical content for campaigns.

Standards Compliance: Ensure all documentation complies with industry standards and best practices for technical writing.

Customer Enablement: Create tutorials, quick-start guides,



and videos to help customers and partners implement and utilize Propel Apps solutions effectively.

Research: Stay updated on industry trends, recent technologies, and competitors to create relevant and impactful content.

Requirements

Experience: 7 to 10 years of technical writing experience, preferably in the B2B SaaS or enterprise software domain.

Writing Skills: Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly and concisely.

Tools: Proficiency in documentation tools like MadCap Flare, Adobe FrameMaker, MS Word, Confluence, and video editing software for tutorials.

Collaboration: Experience working with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and marketing.

Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all written materials.

Education: Bachelors degree in Technical Writing, English, Computer Science, or a related field.

Preferred: Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and knowledge of supply chain
