n About the Role
n We are looking for internet-savvy, detail-oriented, and highly curious Junior Digital rights Management (DRM) / Piracy Monitoring Executives to join our Digital Rights Management team.
n The role involves continuously monitoring digital platforms for unauthorised use, distribution, or reposting of protected content, identifying potential piracy, documenting evidence, and following established rights-enforcement procedures.
n This is a rotational-shift role, requiring flexibility to work across different shifts to ensure continuous monitoring and protection of digital content.
n Key Responsibilities
n n Continuously monitor YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and other digital platforms for unauthorised use or distribution of protected content.
n Search for potential pirated, copied, re-uploaded, or unauthorised content using relevant keywords, titles, names, and other identifiers.
n Identify and verify the original source/content.
n Collect and document relevant evidence, including URLs, screenshots, timestamps, account details,
and other required information.
n Track and maintain records of identified piracy cases.
n Identify repeat offenders and recurring piracy patterns.
n Follow established Digital rights Management (DRM), copyright, claims, and takedown Standard Operating Procedure (SOPs).
n Assist in initiating or preparing appropriate enforcement actions as per the team's processes.
n Escalate unusual, complex, or high-priority cases to the Mid-Level DRM Manager.
n Maintain accurate case records and ensure all actions are properly documented.
n Coordinate with the senior and mid-level team members during shift handovers.
n Stay updated on emerging platforms, piracy methods, and online content-sharing trends.
n Support the team in improving piracy detection and monitoring methods.
n n Rotational Shift Requirement : This role operates on a 24/7 rotational-shift model to ensure continuous monitoring. Team members may be scheduled across shifts such as:
n 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
n 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
n 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM
n Candidates must be comfortable working rotational shifts, including evening and night shifts, as per the team's operational requirements. Shift schedules may be revised based on business and monitoring requirements.
n Required Skills & Qualifications
n n 0–2 years of experience in content monitoring, digital media, research, operations, or a related field.
n Freshers with strong internet research skills and a genuine interest in digital content are welcome to apply.
n Highly internet-savvy and comfortable navigating multiple digital platforms.
n Primarily Monday to Friday; however, work may extend to weekends based on operational requirements, with additional working days compensated through Compensatory Leave (Comp-Off).
n Strong research and information-finding skills with a detail-oriented approach.
n Ability to identify patterns and similarities across online content.
n Strong documentation and organisational skills.
n Comfortable working with repetitive monitoring tasks while maintaining accuracy.
n Ability to work independently and meet shift-based targets.
n Comfortable working in a rotational-shift workplace.
n n Preferred Qualifications
n n Knowledge of copyright, piracy, Content ID, Digital Rights Management (DRM), or digital rights management is a plus.
n Basic knowledge of Copyright Law or Intellectual Property Law is an advantage.
n Previous experience in the entertainment, media, OTT, music, creator, or digital-content industry is preferred.
n Experience with YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, X, Reddit, Telegram, or other online content platforms is a plus.
n Candidates who actively follow digital entertainment, creators, online communities, and internet culture will be preferred.
