Job Description Position : Director / Associate Director Business Development

n Key Responsibilities
n
n n Identify, evaluate, and onboard strategic distribution and embedded lending partners.
n Structure commercial models (revenue share, FLDG, co-lending, sourcing partnerships).
n Drive end-to-end partnership lifecycle – sourcing, negotiation, contracting, GTM, and scale-up.
n Collaborate with credit, product, and tech teams to integrate lending journeys.
n Monitor portfolio performance from partner-sourced channels.
n Negotiate commercial and legal frameworks in collaboration with compliance and legal teams.
n Present partnership strategy and performance insights to senior leadership.
n Identify new embedded finance opportunities across high-growth sectors (SME, Consumer, Supply Chain).
n Analyze partner data for optimization and credit performance improvement.
n Create scalable GTM playbooks for ecosystem expansion.
n Structure performance-linked incentive models for partners.
n Drive optimization initiatives to improve conversion and portfolio health.

n Ideal Profile
n n 6–10 years of experience in fintech, NBFC, digital lending, or embedded finance ecosystems.
n Demonstrated ownership of P&L;, revenue targets, or portfolio growth metrics.
n Strong track record of closing and scaling strategic partnership alliances.
n Deep understanding of credit underwriting, risk frameworks, and RBI/NBFC regulatory guidelines.
n Robust commercial acumen with the ability to structure complex, win-win partnership models (revenue share, co-lending, risk-sharing, FLDG, etc.).
n Exposure to embedded finance/API-led integrations across digital platforms or marketplaces.
n Strong stakeholder management skills across internal teams (Credit, Risk, Legal, Tech, Ops) and external partners.
n Data-driven decision-making ability with comfort in analyzing portfolio performance and optimizing partner-level metrics.
n Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with strategic and execution capabilities.
