Job Description We are seeking an experienced and result-driven Regional Sales Manager to lead and expand the academic business for Ansys solutions. The role focuses on driving revenue growth, strengthening relationships with educational institutions, and promoting simulation-driven learning across the assigned region.

n Key Responsibilities:
n n Drive sales strategy and revenue generation for ANSYS academic products across the region.
n Develop and manage relationships with universities, engineering colleges, and research institutions.
n Identify new business opportunities and expand market penetration in the academic segment.
n Manage the complete sales lifecycle: lead generation, presentations, negotiations, and closures.
n Collaborate with technical teams to deliver product demos, workshops, and academic programs.
n Build partnerships with faculty, HODs, and decision-makers in institutions.
n Forecast sales targets, track pipeline, and ensure timely reporting.
n Participate in academic events, seminars, and industry conferences.
n Lead and mentor a regional sales team (if applicable).

n Key Requirements:
n n 8–10 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in the software/technology/education domain.
n Robust exposure to academic or institutional sales is highly preferred.
n Understanding of engineering simulation tools or exposure to Ansys products is an advantage.
n Proven track record of achieving sales targets and business growth.
n Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
n Ability to work independently and manage a regional territory.

n Educational Qualification:
n n Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Civil preferred).
n MBA in Sales/Marketing is a plus.
